S.Leader Urges Planning To Further Promote Prayers Status

Tehran, Sept 5, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Wednesday underlined the need to increase cultural, artistic and educational efforts to further promote status of prayers among people, the youth in particular. The Ayatollah made the remarks in a message to the national conference on Namaz (prayers). If, in an Islamic society, performing prayers finds its proper status, all efforts will lead to the ideal point, Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated. The Supreme Leader also urged related bodies including the Islamic Republic of Iran's Broadcasting (IRIB) to add to their cultural programs to further boost status of prayers in the society./end
