S.Leader Warns Against Enemies’ Plots To Create Rift Among Muslims

Tehran, July 29, IRNA – Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei warned against the enemies’ plots hatched to create rifts among Islamic Ummah. The Supreme Leader made the remarks in a meeting with about 1,000 university students and representatives of cultural, scientific and political formations of the students. The meeting was held on the 19th day of the auspicious holy month of Ramadan. Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to the enemies’ efforts aimed at creating differences among Shiite and Sunni Muslims, saying, “They (the enemies) suppress the Shiites in different parts of the world because they suppose that the Shiites are supporters of the Islamic Republic, but the enemies do not know that in many countries, the Sunni brothers support the Islamic system more powerfully.” The Supreme Leader noted that one of the conventional methods in psychological war is trying to portray the unreal thing as realities, reiterating that the humans should see the realities as they are without being mistaken. “Adopting a realistic outlook about the situation in the Middle East shows that certain issues have resulted in further strengthening of Islamic system which is indicative of Islamic Republic’s strategic depth of the stable situation of the Islamic Republic,” Ayatollah Khamenei said./end
