SOCAR and Bulgarian gas companies sign documents 

Baku, September 22 (AzerTAc). The President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev received heads of Bulgartransgaz and Bulgargaz companies, who are on a visit to Baku to attend the events on the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Contract of the Century. SOCAR President Abdullayev said the friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria are rapidly developing, regarding the Bulgarian president’s participation in the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the signing of the Contract of the Century and the groundbreaking ceremony of the Southern Gas Corridor as an obvious manifestation of these relations. The guest said solemn ceremonies in Baku are organized at a high level, emphasizing that they are interesting in the supply of Azerbaijani gas to Bulgaria. Thereafter, SOCAR and Bulgarian gas companies signed two documents. SOCAR President and Chief Executive Officer of Bulgartransgaz Kiril Temelkov signed a Memorandum of Understanding. A protocol of intent was signed by SOCAR President and Chairperson of the Board of Bulgargaz.
