Solana says NATO must apologize to Mr. Erdogan

TEHRAN, Jul. 16 (MNA) – Former European Union Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana posted two messages on his Twitter account saying that NATO was aware of the intended coup in July 2016. In a controversial move, former European Union Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana announced, through posting a message on his Twitter account on Monday, that NATO was informed about the failed coup of July 15, 2016, but did not inform the Turkish government. “I want to make a confession! We knew that the coup was going to take place on July 15th. But we haven't to help Turkey. That is why NATO must apologize to Mr. Erdogan.” “The imperialist invasion attempt made on July 15, 2016 the Republic of Turkey and I condemn once again on this occasion I curse. Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish nation would celebrate the great victory. You cannot divide this nation, you cannot break [them] apart.”
