Some European countries' tolerance to terrorist organization not make sense, Turkish premier says

BERLIN (A.A) - November 2, 2011 - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that although Turkey put forth all documents and concrete evidences, some European countries' tolerance to terrorist organization did not make sense. Erdogan attended an event in Berlin and delivered a speech at a meeting held to mark the 50th anniversary of a labour pact between Turkey and Germany. There were deep-rooted relations between Turkey and Germany, he said. Trade volume between Turkey and Germany was 25 billion U.S. dollars in 2010 and the figure had reached 16 billion U.S. dollars only in the first half of 2011, he said. Germany was the most important trade partner of Turkey and vice versa, he said. Erdogan said that Turkey expected Germany to extend more support to Turkey's EU accession bid. "Although Turkey put forth all documents and concrete evidences, we cannot understand some European countries' tolerance to terrorist organization," he said. Erdogan said that assimilation was also a crime against humanity, stating that Turkey supported integrity unconditionally. Turks who came to Germany 50 years ago built a common future with their German friends, he said.
