Speaker and MPs receives Susan Gregson

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold received a delegation headed by Canada’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms Susan Gregson, a chair of the Mongolia-Canada Roundtable meeting, on October 5. Canada is our “Third neighbor” and a strategic partner, Mr Enkhbold said and emphasized that it is important to discuss, during the ongoing roundtable meeting, the bilateral cooperation in politics, economy, trade and investment and to touch upon matters on extending the collaboration in defense, education, agriculture, health services and environment protection. “This is a time for our two countries to focus on cooperation in non-extractive industries”, he stressed. Ms Gregson thanked the Speaker for his time and congratulated him on the 25th anniversary of establishment of the permanent democratic parliament. She said Canada is willing to share its practices in financial sector, one of the most developed sectors in Canada. Present at the meeting were G.Uyanga MP, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Canada R.Altangerel and other officials.
