Speaker of Finland begins visit

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Speaker of Finland Mr Eero Heineluoma started Monday his official visit to Mongolia at invitation of his Mongolian counterpart Z.Enkhbold. In the "Chingis Khaan" international airport, Mr Heineluoma was welcomed by N.Battsereg MP, a head of the Mongolia-Finland inter-parliamentary group; B.Boldbaatar, the secretary-general of the Parliamentary Office; Ts.Narantungalag, a head of the External Relations Section; and other officials. Mr Heineluoma underlined that his visit is coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations. "I have observed an intensive development of Mongolia recent years, so I want to witness it during my visit," Mr Heineluoma said. Mr Heineluoma is to pay respect to the Monument of Chingis Khaan and will leave his signature on the Book Honored Guests in the State House. The same day, the Speaker of the State Great Khural Mr Enkhbold will meet with Mr Heineluoma. Within the three-day visit, the Finland Speaker will receive N.Altankhuyag, the Prime Minister; D.Gankhuyag, the Minister of Mining; Kh.Temuujin, the Minister of Justice; and B.Urgamaltsetseg, the Vice Minister of Education and Science.
