Speaker Lauds China’s Approach Toward Iran N-issue

Tehran, Nov 2, IRNA – Speaker of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Ali Larijani said Friday afternoon that China’s approach towards Iran nuclear issue is positive. Speaking to reporters at the airport upon his return from a four-day visit to China, Larijani said he held talks with Chinese officials on issues of mutual interest including economic relations and Iran’s nuclear issue. Iran and China enjoy relatively good relations in the field of economy and trade, Larijani said adding that the two sides underlined the need to boost regional cooperation, as well as cooperation in the fields of tourism and scientific activities. He stressed that political issues would never influence Tehran-Beijing relations as the two capitals enjoy strong ties and are determined to further promote bilateral cooperation./end
