Speaker meets Ambassador Yves Delaunay

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold Monday received Mr Yves Delaunay, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Mongolia, in connection with his completing diplomatic mission here. Mentioning about the 50th anniversary of the Mongolia-France diplomatic relations celebrated this year, the Speaker said that several high-level visits and meetings of the intergovernmental working groups took place in the office term of Mr Delaunay. He thanked France for sending its members of the parliamentary chambers to the Autumn Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly which run last month in Ulaanbaatar. The Ambassador said he had worked here for about four years after one-yea works in Mongolia 32 years ago. He emphasized that his country attaches a great importance to the relations with Mongolia and said the French government plans to prepare specialists in the economy, culture, energy and agricultural spheres through a specific policy to expand the cooperation with Mongolia. The Ambassador went on that he is very confident about a balanced development of the Mongolian economy, and pointed out France's readiness to collaborate and to share its experience with Mongolia in tourism, agriculture and mining. During the meeting, Ts.Oyungerel MP thanked the Ambassador for focusing a big attention to expanding of the cooperation in the culture and art spheres. The sides also discussed the bilateral relations and cooperation. Present at the meeting were Mr D.Gankhuyag, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and other officials.
