Speaker meets head Committee on foreign affairs of Germany

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Within his official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG), the Speaker of parliament Z.Enkhbold Wednesday received Mr Norbert Rottgen, the Chairman of the Committee on foreign affairs of the German Bundestag. Mr Rottgen said he is glad with an active development of the bilateral relations. Mr Enkhbold underlined that Germany is an important partner of Mongolia in Europe, and expressed a willingness of Mongolia to bring the Mongolia-Germany comprehensive partnership cooperation into a strategic level. He thanked the Bundestag for its attention to forwarding of the bilateral inter-parliamentary relations and cooperation. Mutual visits of members of the Mongolia-Germany inter-parliamentary group at the State Great Khural and of the Bundestag have regularized, they play a main role in boosting the inter-parliamentary cooperation, Mr Enkhbold said. Ulaanbaatar city will host an autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) this September and the 11th Summit of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) in 2016, he added. Present at the meeting were also L.Bold MP, head of the Mongolia-Germany inter-parliamentary group at the State Great Khural; parliamentarians Ts.Nyamdorj, O.Enkhtuvshin, L.Erdenechimeg, Z.Bayanselenge; Ts.Bolor, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Germany; and other officials. The same day, Mr Enkhbold got acquainted with a meeting of the Bundestag as an honored guest.
