Speaker meets Mr Heineluoma

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The State Great Khural Speaker Z.Enkhbold met Monday with his counterpart of Finland Mr Eero Heineluoma who is here with the official visit. Mr Enkhbold thanked Mr Heineluoma for visiting and noted that it has coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Mongolia-Finland diplomatic relations, significantly contributing to expanding of the countries' bilateral cooperation and to the development of inter-parliamentary ties. The Mongolia-Finland inter-parliamentary group, set up in 2012 with 11 members led by N.Battsereg MP, plays its big role in activating of the collaboration between the parliaments, he said and added that the State Great Khural wants to widen the political and economic ties. He also mentioned that Finland had sent its representatives, headed by the Justice Minister, to the seventh Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies, and said Finland is one of the leading countries in the world in the education and scientific sectors, so "Mongolia has a willingness to study Finland's experience in the education and on innovation development." In response, Mr Heineluoma said his country wants to collaborate with Mongolia in the mining and agricultural sectors, and than asked about a structure of Mongolian court system and development of the agricultural sphere. Mr Enkhbold also said Mongolia can strengthen the cooperation between the government of Mongolia and the Forest Research Institute and to cooperate in Mongol and Altai studies. At the end of the meeting, Mr Heineluoma invited his Mongolian counterpart to Finland.
