SPEAKER MEETS REPRESENTATIVES OF VIETNAM-MONGOLIA FRIENDSHIP SOCIETY

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ During his official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Speaker of Mongolian Parliament M.Enkhbold met representatives of Vietnam-Mongolia Friendship Society on January 23. During the meeting, head of the Vietnam-Mongolia Friendship Society Ho Xuang Hung said, “Citizens and entities are interested in developing trade and economic ties between the two countries, but the transportation is main obstacle and sea transportation is expensive. It will be excellent if we have a direct flight.” In turn, M.Enkhbold highlighted the valuable contribution of the Friendship Society to over 60-year historical and friendly relations between Mongolia and Vietnam. “Multilateral activities you are organizing play an important role to inherit history of bilateral relations into next generations and guide to future-oriented activities,” he said. “ The two countries have sustainable political relations, enriching continually with new contents. However, trade and economic cooperation has not achieved yet this level. Therefore, it needs a special focus. …There is a full possibility to coordinate actions of organizations responsible for such as customs, border, quarantine and specialized inspections, and to resolve problems thoroughly.
