Speaker receives Czech delegation of parliament

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Mr Z.Enkhbold Wednesday met a delegation headed by Ms Ivana Dobesova, a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic. Beginning the meeting, the Speaker thanked the Czech delegation for taking part in the 2015 Autumn Session of the OSCE PA running in Ulaanbaatar. Ms Dobesova also expressed thanks to the Speaker for a warm audience, and noted Mongolia is hosting the OSCE PA session at a high level. Saying that Mongolia and the Czech Republic have long-year friendly relations, Ms Dobesova hoped that the bilateral relations will broaden further, and added she has willingness to personally contribute to the bilateral ties in the education and cultural spheres. “Our countries are possible to collaborate in the agriculture and educational sectors, to realize a student exchange program and to share experiences between experts,” she added. She also underlined an importance of intensifying the ties and cooperation between the inter-parliamentary friendship groups. Mr Enkhbold said he is pleased with widening of the Mongolia-Czech relations and cooperation in the politics, defense, agriculture, health, infrastructure and environment sectors, and then emphasized an importance of expanding the ties and collaboration in economy and business spheres. He said Mongolia is thankful to the Czech Republic for granting governmental scholarships to Mongolian students. Present at the meeting were S.Oyun MP, a member of the Mongolia-Czech inter-parliamentary group; Zuzka Berabova-Ruibrevo, head of the Czech-Mongolia friendship group at the Chamber of Deputies; Ivana Grollova, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Mongolia; and other officials.
