SPEAKER RECEIVES TURKISH AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Speaker of the State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold received the Ambassador of Turkey to Mongolia M.Karagoz on Wednesday. The Speaker congratulated Mr Karagoz on being appointed as such and expressed a satisfaction with active relations and cooperation between the law-making institutions of our countries. He recalled his visit to Turkey and noted a great impetus given to the ties by Turkish PM R.Erdogan by his official visit to Mongolia in 2013. He briefed on the active cooperation between parliamentary groups and governments of the two countries, and on projects and technical assistance rendered by the Turkish international cooperation and development agency. The Speaker expressed a gratitude to the Turkish side for the agreement on granting Mongolia a soft loan of 300 million USD. The Ambassador thanked the Speaker for receiving him, and promised to work harder to maintain the high level relations between the countries. He talked about the intergovernmental agreement on mutual travels between Mongolia and Turkey, and said a proper solution to the issue of visa-free travel of the Turkish to Mongolia would be a great impetus to our ties. The Ambassador also mentioned the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties in 2014 and expressed a confidence that these traditional and long-age ties will be a solid foundation for further cooperation. The Speaker expressed a confidence that giving valued contribution to further relations, Mr Karagoz will pay attention to other opportunities of cooperation and wished him a great success.
