Speaker visits Japanese companies

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the working visit to Japan, the Speaker of parliament Z.Enkhbold visited Thursday Japanese companies in Saitama Prefecture. First, he legged the Shibasaki Seisakysyo company which was founded in 1956. Having three major factories, the company owns associate companies in Mongolia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and the USA. Established in 2004, the Mongolia-based branch, the “Mon-Shibasaki” company employs 30 workers and manufactures products costing USD 2.5 million a year. The goods are exported to Japan and Indonesia, said H.Shibasaki, the CEO of the company. In accordance with the rule of preparing practitioners, the “Mon-Shibasaki” company is now hiring Mongolian practitioners through the official agent--the Japan International Training Cooperation Organization (JITCO)--in order to prepare workers in Japan. As of present, eight Mongolians are working at the metal processing and quality supervision workshops Shibasaki said. The Speaker and accompanying him delegation met the Mongolians who are working in the Japanese factory under a three-year term contract. Afterwards, the Speaker visited the Sankou Seiki company which manufactures high quality pressed metal for electronics, automotive, HDD, ATM and electrical products through creative application of new technology. The company installed in Honjo city of Saitama Prefecture a solar energy station of 10 Megawatt with 6,400 pieces of solar panels made in Mongolia. The company leaders said it plans to export its products to USA, Russia and European countries.
