Speakers Of Oman, Sudan, Tajikistan, Pakistan In Tehran For PUIC Confab

Tehran, Feb 16, IRNA – The Omani, Sudanese, Tajik and Pakistani parliament speakers arrived here Sunday to attend the 9th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States (PUIC). Upon arrival, the foreign officials were welcomed by a member of Presiding Board of Iranˈs Majlis (Parliament) Shahin Mohammad Sadeqi and second Vice-Speaker of Majlis Mohammad Reza Bahonar. The PUIC conference is slated to be held from February 18-19. The parliament speakers of Afghanistan, Ivory Coast, Comoros and Guinea-Bissau as well as vice-chairman of Bahraini Shura and deputy speaker of the Tunisian parliament have already arrived in Tehran for the event./end
