Spokeswoman Welcomes Establishment Of Lebanese New Gov't

Tehran, Feb 17, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Ahkham welcomed establishment of Lebanese new government and said the move resulted from amity and understanding of all Lebanese groups. According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Afkham felicitated the success to Lebanese people and underlined continuation of Iran’s support for stability and security in Lebanon. She added that establishment of the new government causes more closeness of Lebanese political and ethnic groups and prepares better ground for development of the country. Lebanese new Prime Minister Tammam Salam presented list of cabinet ministers to the Lebanon president on Saturday February 15, 2014 after 11 months of political stalemate./end
