Sr. MP Stresses Firmness Of Iran’s Negotiating Team In Talks

Tehran, Nov 18, IRNA – Rapporteur of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Seyyed Hossein Naqavi Hosseini hailed firmness of Iran’s negotiating team on its stance vis-à-vis the country’s nuclear program. “Iran is firm for achieving an understanding based on preserving the national interests,” Naqavi Hosseini said. “The Islamic Republic of Iran succeeded to prove this reality for the westerners in Geneva meetings that Iran has a rigid stance in negotiations and reaching an agreement based on maintaining its national interests,” he added. Naqavi Hosseini underlined the soundness of Iran’s negotiating team, and said, “Commitment of Iran to principles and mottos of independence and freedom have prevented irrational demands by the West.” /end
