Standing committee chairwoman meets Germany’s delegation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Head of the parliamentary Standing committee on social policy, education, culture and science Z.Bayanselenge received Wednesday a delegation led by Holger Helmut, director of the Arts Education School of Schwerin city of Germany. The Standing committee head Ms Bayanselenge and Mr Holger shared views on activities being done within the 2nd stage of the “Germany-Mongolia professionals’ exchange” project. Eight Mongolian teachers were involved in a training organized April by the school in Germany with aims to give lessons to them on art of living, methods of learning and aesthetic education for youths through the education of theatre and arts, Mr Holger noted. They are visiting Mongolia these days in order to see the trained people who are delivering their knowledge and experience and to render professional assistance to them. Ms Bayanselenge thanked the delegation for visiting here to get acquainted with implementation of the project. She emphasized an importance of the bilateral collaboration for granting the education of theatre and arts to youths, especially orphans and children from vulnerable group, and then said she will support the project. Mr Holger expressed his satisfaction with implementation of the project in a short time, and said he has a big ambition to specialize Mongolian teachers on Germany’s lifetime education and developmental issues of culture and arts and to distribute the latest experience and achievements in art and esthetic spheres through Mongolian teachers. Mr Holger noted he has learned many things while visiting Mongolia, and said the training involved only teachers for learning experience, next time it is possible to hold the training for children and youths. He expressed a hope that the bilateral relations and collaboration will widen.
