STANDING COMMITTEE HEAD MEETS MS SEZIN SINANOGLU

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Head of the parliamentary Standing committee on social policy, education, culture and science D.Battsogt Thursday received Ms Sezin Sinanoglu, the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative to Mongolia. Expressing thanks to the Standing committee head for an audience, Ms Sinanoglu handed to him the fifth report on UNDP support for countries' population fund. This year’s report was drawn up well, Ms Sinanoglu noted, and said that she is satisfied with placing it on the UN official report. She wished the Standing committee head paid great attention to this report. In response, the Standing committee head thanked Ms Sinanoglu for delivering the report, and promised to carefully get familiarized with the report on Mongolia’s population fund, the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and development programmes. Mr Battsogt expressed a willingness to collaborate with the UNDP in improving professional skills of the Standing committee’s staffers.
