Struggle Is Only Way to Right to Existence

Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- The Association of Rice Producers and the Federation of Peasants Associations in south Korea held a rally in Seoul on Sept. 22 with over 5 000 peasants from 80 regions involved, demanding the guarantee for peasants' right to existence and resignation of the Park Geun Hye regime, according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People. It is an eruption of the pent-up resentment and grievance against the outside forces' colonial enslavement policy devastating agriculture and the south Korean authorities' policy ruining agriculture, Ri Hye Suk, chairwoman of the management board of the Samjigang Co-op Farm in Jaeryong County, South Hwanghae Province, the DPRK said in an interview with KCNA. She went on: During the presidential election, Park Geun Hye made such commitments as the "era of people's happiness", but after her assumption of "presidency", she opened the rice market to others. It is needless to say that the opening of rice market only adds misery to the poor livelihood of peasants at a time when grain markets in south Korea are flooded with American surplus agricultural products. This clearly proves the true color of Park Geun Hye group of traitors who have committed without hesitation such brutal acts as impoverishing the people's livelihood for the sake of the outsiders. The right to existence can be achieved only through the struggle. -0-
