Struggle of S. Korean Workers for Right to Existence Supported

Pyongyang, September 29 (KCNA) -- There took place a meeting of 100 000 financial and public workers for pledging an all-out action and a rally for the general strike with the attendance of more than 50 000 workers in Seoul, south Korea in June and on September 23 respectively, in protest against the Park Geun Hye group's unpopular labor policies like the system of paying salaries according to piece rate. In this regard, Kim Han Il, manager of the Chollima Steel Complex, in an interview with KCNA said: The struggle of the south Korean workers is daily getting stronger, as the Park Geun Hye group's move for the retrogressive revision of the labor law poses a serious threat to their right to existence. The enforcement of the system will be resulted in snowballing the number of the jobless which stands at over 4.5 million. Therefore, it is quite natural for the south Korean workers to turn out in the general strike, branding the system as the "system of forcible retirement" and "modern-version slave system". The harsher suppression and dictatorship will only invite the stronger resistance. -0-
