Success Of Iran Lies In Islamic Revolution: MP

Islamabad, Feb 10, IRNA - A member of Pakistani Parliament on Monday said that Iran is successful and developing in all sectors because of its commitment towards the Islamic Revolution. Talking to IRNA, Senator Tahir Hussain Mashhadi said that the victory of the Islamic Revolution belongs to the entire World of Islam. He was of the view that the late Imam Khomeini, who was fully commited to Islam, taught the Iranian nation how to live with dignity in the world. The Senator said since the victory of the Islamic Revolution Iran has become self sufficient and progressing in all sectors. “Iran today is showing rapid development in defense, technology, medicine and many other sectors,” viewed the lawmaker. Referring to Iranians as a respectful nation, he reiterated that Iran has never compromised over its integrity even during the imposition of sanctions. He regretted that the US and Arab world imposed an eight-year war on Iran but the Islamic Republic successfully faced the challenge and came out as victorious. The political leader said that Iran is pursuing an independent foreign policy which disturbs the western world. “Iran has never yielded to the pressures of world powers,” he said. He said that even the West admits that Iran is a powerful country. The MP said all world countries respect the Father of the Islamic Revolution. “The late Imam Khomeini had shown right path to his nation, he was the greatest leader of the 20th century”. He reiterated that the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is following a realistic approach. “Today the world has become a global village and no country can live in isolation,” he viewed. Mashhadi said Iran is a peaceful country and wants to have strong relationship with all countries of the world. He said the nuclear deal reached between Iran and the West is a big development. He stressed, “Iran has developed nuclear technology for the benefit of its own people”./end
