Sudan, Uganda information officials arrive in Tehran

Tehran, Nov 30, IRNA - Undersecretary of Sudan Information Ministry and an official at the Uganda Prime Ministry arrived in Tehran Sunday morning to attend the 10th Islamic Conference of Information Ministers (ICIM). Abdul-Majid Haroun and Simon Kariba are here to attend the ICIM experts meeting. Their visits are taking place at the invitation of Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati to take part in the upcoming event aimed at promoting media convergence to establish peace and security in the Islamic world. ICIM which is seeking to help consolidate unity and present a proper image of Islam is to be held in Tehran Azadi Hotel during December 1-4. The ministerial session will be held on December 3-4 following a meeting of senior experts on December 1.
