Supreme Leader: Resistance to perish Zionist regime in 25 years

Tehran, Dec 14, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that resistance movement will perish the Zionist regime in 25 years. The Supreme Leader made the remarks in a meeting with visiting leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad Ramadan Abdullah. The Supreme Leader said that if the 10-point plan adopted by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad be implemented, and those having the mission to divert the Islamic Resistance Movement from its own path fail to achieve their ominous goal, the Zionist regime will perish in the next 25 years. There is no doubt that there are some who have been assigned to prevent implementation of the plan, therefore all should exercise vigilance in order not to let such plan to be forgotten gradually, Ayatollah Khamenei said. Global arrogance led by Great Satan, the United States in parallel with meddling of its puppets in the region have created current crisis in the region and they make every effort the issue of Palestine be forgotten. The Islamic Republic of Iran got involved in the regional developments for many times has underlined that the issue of Palestine is the first issue of the Muslim World and that Iran honored pledges so far, the Supreme Leader said. All should double their efforts to give priority the issue of Palestine in the Public opinion in the Muslim World in a way the reconciliatory officials in some countries to be afraid of the reaction which might be shown by nations, Ayatollah Khamenei said. The US and its regional allies try to indicate that religion plays key role in regional disputes but the Sunni Muslims killed in Mosul or other cities by criminal Takfiris proved that the crisis has nothing to do with the Shia or Sunni Muslims, the Supreme Leader said. Leaders of Takfiri terrorist groups are infidel; the Supreme Leader said adding that fight against them should be on agenda as such crisis will draw the issue of Palestine to the margin. The mission of these groups is to hatch conspiracy requiring vigilance and decisiveness of all groups not to fall into trap of the infidels, the Supreme Leader said. Enmity with righteousness is among nature of arrogant powers, therefore, no one should be surprised by continuity of such enmities, the Supreme Leader said. Open eyes and correct analysis are elements of such rational methods to thwart conspiracy of the United States, the Supreme Leader said. 'With full confidence and trust in the promises given by God, we are determined to carry out our duties and never afraid of any bullying power, the Supreme Leader said. The importance of the Islamic Jihad movement is now obvious, the Supreme Leader said. The visiting leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad for his part thanked the wise and brave stand adopted by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the support made by the Iranian government and Lebanese Hezbollah for the cause of Palestine, he said. Regretfully, some of the regional countries have forgotten the issue of Palestine and are in tight competition to oath pledge with the Zionist regime, he said. Repression of Palestinian nation and continued occupation of Palestine mainly in the West Bank have roots in such disorders, Ramadan Abdullah Mohammad Shalah said. Fortunately, the Palestinian youths are awakened and have taken initiative to continue with Intifada, he said. He said that the 10-point plan issued by the Palestinian groups have been welcomed by intellectuals and writers in the Arab world. We believe that the only route for victory will be resistance in Gaza, supporting Intifada in the West Bank and Palestinian autonomous government as well as cancellation of Oslo Accord, he said. The combat readiness of the Palestinian groups in 51 days resistance to the Israeli aggression on Gaza city has increased along with upgraded precise missiles employed by the resistance movement, he said adding that by the time the fate of Palestine not to be heeded, the region will not experience tranquility. 1378/irna
