Syria Will Defeat Its Enemies Powerfully : Iran 1st VP

Tehran, Nov 1, IRNA – Syria will defeat its enemies and would emerge more powerful than past, Iranian First Vice President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi said here Wednesday. He made the remarks in a meeting with the Syrian Oil Minister Sa'eid Hanidi. “The US and the Zionist regime are behind the civil war in Syria; Damascus enemies are disappointed about their war with the Syrian nation; Iran would continue its support for the Syrian nation and government.” Syrian oil minister for his part thanked Iran’s supports, noting that the enemies are fighting against the implementation of reforms in Syria and they intend to weaken the regional resistance against the occupying force of Zionist regime, but they will fail to do both, for sure. Iran and Syria have forged an alliance ever since the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and the two countries' officials exchange visits on a regular basis. /end
