Syrian envoy condoles martyrdom of Iranian reporter

Islamabad, Nov 14, IRNA - Syrian ambassador to Pakistan expressed condolences to Iraninan people and government on martyrdom of 'Mohsen Khazaee', the reporter of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting in Syrian city of Aleppo in a mortar attack by the terrorists. Talking to IRNA correspondent in Islamabad, 'Rizwan Lotfi' appreciated Iran’s brilliant role in helping Syria figh against terrorist. He said that Iran stood by Syria in the international campaign against terrorism in Syria and that Syrian people and government thank Iran for its support for Syria against the terrorist groups. “Without help from Iran, Syria would definitely face more problems. Participation of Iran in fighting aginst terrorism in Syria, is a humanitarian step to protect Syrian people in line with the Islamic teachings and the values of humanity,” the envoy said. Takfiris have kidnapped values of Islam, the ambassador said. ** Pakistan-Syria ties friendly The Syrian ambassador to Islamabad described Pakistan-Syria ties as good and friendly relations. Pakistan has taken a positive position of non-interference in Syria internal affairs, the Syrian envoy said. “Pakistan abides by the international law and believes that Syrian fate is a matter of the Syrian people.
