Syrian PM Arrives In Tehran

Tehran, Jan 16, IRNA – Syrian Prime Minister Wael Nader al-Halqi heading a high level delegation arrived in Tehran Tuesday afternoon. The Syrian premier is to confer with Iranian senior officials on issues of mutual interests as well as regional developments. Upon his arrival, he was officially welcomed by Minister of Roads and Urban Development Ali Nikzad, ambassadors from Syria and Palestine as well as Iranian Foreign Ministry officials. During his two-day stay in Tehran, the Syrian premier will review regional developments and the three-point plan proposed by Syrian president Bashar al-Assad to bring peace and tranquility to the Arab country.
