Taghavi: US Should Prove Its Sincerity To Iran

Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA - Head of Friday Prayers policy-making body Hojatoleslam Reza Taghavi said on Monday that the US government should prove its sincerity to Iranian nation. He told reporters that chanting anti-US slogans by the Iranian people indicates that they are opposed to tyranny, aggressors, traitors and colonial powers. “The US has oppressed Iran over the past decades. The US administration should compensate the injustice they committed against Iran,” he said. “The US has toughened its pressures or threats on Iran and still claim that military option is on the table. Therefore, we should strongly maintain our stand,“ he said./end
