Talks between Delegation of WPK and Leading Members of CPC Held

Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- There took place talks between the delegation of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and leading members of the Communist Party of Cuba (CPC) at the building of the Central Committee of the CPC on Monday. Present at the talks from the WPK side were members of the WPK delegation led by Kim Yong Chol, member of the Political Bureau and vice-chairman of the C.C., the WPK, Pak Chang Yul, DPRK ambassador to Cuba, and from the CPC side Salvador Antonio Valdes Mesa, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the CPC and vice-president of the Council of State of Cuba, and other chief members of the CPC. At the talks both sides informed each other of the activities of their parties. At the talks held in a comradely and friendly atmosphere both sides discussed the matter of further developing the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and two countries and exchanged views on the matters of mutual concern. The WPK delegation was invited to a reception hosted by the CPC Central Committee on the same day. -0-
