Tehran Confab Golden Chance To Resolve Regional Problems : Turkish Speaker

Tehran, Feb 18, IRNA – Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Cemil Çicek described the PUIC conference as a golden opportunity to find solutions to the regional problems. Çicek is in the Iranian capital to attend the 9th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States (PUIC) that started this morning. Referring to the current regional situation as critical, he said Tehran conference can make regional nations closer. In an exclusive interview with IRNA, he expressed hope that the 9th PUIC conference will enjoy fruitful achievements. Turning to Tehran-Ankara ties, he said the two may have different points of view on various issues, but the differences have never created obstacles to bilateral cooperation.
