Tehran To Host NAM Summit Meeting Late Summer

Tehran, May 8, IRNA – The 16th summit meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) member countries is to be held in Tehran late summer. During the NAM summit meeting, the Islamic Republic of Iran will receive the NAM rotating chairmanship for the next three-year tenure. Egypt is to host the NAM ministerial meeting on May 9-10, 2012. The Non-Aligned Movement includes 118 member states representing the interests and priorities of developing countries./end
