Tehran NAM summit will help promote regional peace: India

TEHRAN,Aug.28(MNA) – Indian Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai said that the XVI Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement will help promote peace and stability in the region and the world. Mathai, who is in Tehran to attend the summit, made the remarks during a meeting with Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian deputy foreign minister for Asian and Oceanian affairs, on Monday. “The holding of the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Tehran will make the movement more active,” Mathai stated.
