Tehran Ready For New Round Of Talks With Sextet : Envoy

Moscow, June 8, IRNA - Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mahmoud-Reza Sajjadi said here Friday that Tehran is fully ready to hold a new round of talks with the Group 5+1 (US, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany). Speaking to Russian news agency Itar-Tass, he reiterated that the issue has nothing to do with the outcome of the upcoming presidential elections, slated for June 14, 2013. Sajjadi said that no date has been fixed yet for the negotiations. Asked whether the new round of talks would take place in June or July, the ambassador said, “we are ready to meet at any time.”/end
