Terrorists Have Badly Damaged Syrian Tourism : Minister

Damascus, July 14, IRNA – Syrian Tourism Minister Hala al-Nasser said here Saturday that terrorist operations have badly damaged tourism industry in the country. Ms al-Nasser made the remarks while talking to IRNA, regretting that terrorist activities have raised security problems in Syria. Some 80,000 people working at tourism industry have lost their jobs since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, she noted. Terrorists have destructed over 92 percent of infrastructures of tourist attractions in Damascus and its suburb, she stressed. She criticized inaction of international bodies towards crimes being committed by terrorist groups in Syria./end
