Government spokesman Yongyuth Mayalarp said Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha also ordered the government spokesmen’s team to work harder in communicating government projects through public channels including social media, radio, television and print media. Yongyuth said to help with public communication, the government would be launching a new smart phone application that would be open for downloads and include among other information, the daily “Thailand Moves Forward” TV program and the “Thailand Moves Forward” newsletter. Yongyut also said that from April 18 to 23, cabinet ministers would deliver portfolio reports then on April 24 the prime minister would conclude the announcement in his “Returning Happiness to Thai People” program. It was understood that national order and security would be among the highlights of the upcoming government report. Meanwhile, many economic stimulus measures were in the pipeline including planned development of special economic zones in border areas.
