Thai PM attends G20 summit in China

BANGKOK, Sept 4 (TNA) - Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-Ocha and his spouse lead a high-level Thai delegation to attend the G20 Summit in China. Thai delegation including Foreign Minister, Don Pramudwinai and Commerce Minister, Apiradee Tantraporn is attending the G20 summit in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou during September 4th-5th. Thailand was invited to attend the summit as the chair of the G77, representing 134 members from developing countries. It showed that the international community is confident in Thai politics and economy. Gen Prayuth will hold bilateral talks with other leaders especially with the host, China. After attending the G20 summit, Thai premier is scheduled to go Lao capital of Vientiane to attend the 28th and 29th ASEAN Summits from September 6th – 8th. (TNA)
