Thai PM prepared for delivery of policy statement before Parliament

BANGKOK, July 24 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha says he has no concerns over his delivery of his new administration's policy statement before the Parliament, set on July 25. Speaking to journalists at Bangkok's Government House on July 24, the prime minister mentioned that the delivery of a policy statement of a new government before the Parliament is a normal practice in the Thai politics. "I've taken office as a new Thai prime minister, heading the new administration", the prime minister stated, implying that he must be prepared for the delivery of his new government's policy statement before the Parliament. In response to media reports that his ruling Palang Pracharat Party has organized a seminar at a resort located in an encroached forest area, the Thai premier stressed, meanwhile, that an investigation on the alleged case will be launched based on the legal framework. The prime minister pledged that Thai laws, from now on, must be strictly enforced as his new coalition administration came from the democratic system, under which people's claims must be responded and addressed.
