Thai, Sri Lankan prime ministers have breakfast together

SRI LANKA, July 13 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha had breakfast with his Sri Lankan counterpart and met Sri Lanka’s opposition leader before visiting Kandy city to pay respect to the Sacred Tooth Relic. On the second day of his two-day official visit to Sri Lanka, Gen Prayut and his delegation visited Temple Trees, the residence of the Sri Lankan prime minister, at 8am to have breakfast with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. Then the delegation returned to Shangri-La Hotel and met Sri Lanka’s opposition leader at 10.05am. At 12.50pm, Prime Minister Prayut was set to visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens in Kandy and plant an olive. Then he visited the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. At 3.50pm, Gen Prayut was scheduled to leave Kandy on a helicopter for Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo. His delegation would depart from the airport at 5pm to return to Thailand. The flight would take four hours and 35 minutes. The delegation was set to arrive in Thailand at 11.05pm. (TNA)
