Thailand's Democrat Party MPs to all resign

BANGKOK, December 8 (TNA) - Thailand’s main opposition Democrat party has announced that all of its Member of parliaments would resign en masse. After a 5- hour meeting today, Democrat Party spokesman Chavanond Intarakomalsut said the Democrat MPs would formally step down "as soon as possible ". He said his party could not work in the legislature anymore because it is ``no longer accepted by the people.'' The Democrat party’s announcement came after Prime Minister and Defence Minister Yingluck Shinawatra announced that she is prepared to dissolve the House of Representatives and organise a fresh general election within 60 days if it is the wish of the majority of the Thais and is not against the Constitution.
