BEIJING, February 20. /TASS/. The Foreign Ministers of China, Russia and India will hold a regular meeting on February 27 in a Chinese city of Wuzhen, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said at a briefing on Wednesday. Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will chair the meeting, which will be attended by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. "The 16th regular meeting of the Foreign Ministers of China, Russia and India will be held in Wuzhen (Zhejiang province, eastern China) on February 27. They have important common interests and are responsible for maintaining global peace, stability and development. Since this trilateral mechanism was created, it has been playing an important role in bolstering strategic cooperation and coordinating positions, as well as reaching a consensus among the three nations," he added. The diplomat reiterated that last November, the leaders of the three countries held an official meeting in Argentina "pointing out the vectors of further development".
