Trade official optimistic about outcome of nuclear talks

Tehran, Nov 16, IRNA – Secretary of the Council for Free Trade and Special Economic Zones Akbar Torkan said on Saturday that he is optimistic about outcome of the nuclear talks. Speaking to IRNA, Torkan said Iran has made the best possible decisions to hold negotiations with the western governments to preserve national interests and allay international concerns. Torkan said news indicate that the two sides in the nuclear talks are in agreement on major points to the extent that Iran's nuclear rights enshrined by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty are recognized. The negotiations are underway with a focus on the scale, dimensions and details of Iran's nuclear program and regarding the factors, there is much hope for access to final accord. The Presidential Advisor said that he hopes to reach a comprehensive agreement to lift the sanctions. Referring to the impact of sharp fall in oil prices on the next year budget, Torkan said the next year budget will be earmarked based on the new oil prices./end
