Trilateral meeting of heads of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian military educational institutions held in Baku

Baku, May 17, AZERTAC A trilateral meeting of chiefs of military schools of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia has been held at the Azerbaijan Military Academy named after Heydar Aliyev. In his remarks, Fizuli Salakhov, Chief of the Azerbaijan Military Academy named after Heydar Aliyev, stressed the importance of holding this meeting. He noted that such meetings would contribute to strengthening friendship among the officers and teaching staff of military educational institutions and expanding ties in military education and other areas of mutual interest. Ismail Güzeller, Commandant of the Turkish Military Academy and Zaza Japaridze, rector of the National Defense Academy of Georgia, thanked the Azerbaijani government for the excellent organization of this high-level trilateral meeting in Baku. They emphasized that such events would make a worthy contribution to the exchange of experience and the implementation of major programs and projects among military educational institutions. The sides expressed hope that they would continue to hold such meetings in an extended format. They also expressed their willingness to learn from the best practices of the brotherly states and collaborate with each other. A joint protocol on the results of the trilateral meeting of the heads of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian military educational institutions was signed.
