Trilateral meeting of Russian, Mongolian, Chinese leaders due at SCO summit in Ufa

MOSCOW, May 7. /TASS/. A trilateral meeting of the leaders of Russia, Mongolia and China will take place at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, to be held in Ufa in July, Mongolia’s President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj told TASS in an exclusive interview. For the first time talks in such a format among Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj took place on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Dushanbe in September 2014. "The presidents’ next meeting is due in Ufa on the sidelines of the SCO summit," Elbegdorj said. "There are many issues that should be discussed in both bilateral and trilateral formats. This is very helpful," he pointed out. He recalled that also there existed a trilateral mechanism of consultations at the deputy foreign minister level. Read more
