Ts.Ganbold received by CY Leung

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ts.Ganbold, the Consul General of Mongolia to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China was received by Mr Leung Chun-ying, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on April 24. Mr Leung Chun-ying expressed a satisfaction with the expanding cooperation and mutually beneficial partnership between Mongolia and Hong Kong and said the Government of Hong-kong will focus on creating conditions for deepening the ties between state organizations, private sector and peoples of the two sides. In response, Mr Ganbold offered to realize mutual high visits and to run intergovernmental negotiations on amending the 1998 intergovernmental agreement on visa-free visits, for example, to extend a 14-day term to 30 days. Mr Leung Chun-ying said his side will study these suggestions. The same day Mr Ganbold met with Mr Song Zhe, the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to share views on some issues of Mongolia-China relationship. During the meeting, Mr Ts.Ganbold received an Exequatur that permits his appointment as the Consul General to Hong Kong.
