Ts.Jambaldorj presents his diplomatic credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On March 23, Ts.Jambaldorj, Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Malta presented his diplomatic credentials to Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, President of the Republic of Malta. Following the ceremony, President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca received Ambassador Ts.Jambaldorj to discuss bilateral relations. The Ambassador conveyed Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj's greeting to the President of Malta. Afterwards, Angelo Farrugia, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malta, George William Vella, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Fiona Formosa, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malta met with Ambassador Ts.Jambaldorj to exchange views on bilateral ties and cooperation. During the meeting, the Mongolian Ambassador emphasized that 2016 was a year of significance for bilateral relationship between Mongolia and Malta. For instance, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Malta visited Mongolia to attend the 11th ASEM Summit in July, 2016, and signed intergovernmental agreements on 'Aerial communication' and 'Mutual Visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports'. He underlined that there are potentials for Mongolia and Malta to embark on a concrete cooperation. The sides reciprocally exchanged views on seeking real possibilities to develop cooperation in the areas of education, culture and tourism between the two countries.
