Turkey and GCC have great potential, says FM Davutoglu

ISTANBUL (A.A) - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Saturday said that while there were many challenges, Turkey and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries had a great potential. Speaking at the inauguration of the Turkey-GCC High Level Strategic Dialogue Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Istanbul, Davutoglu said that Turkey and the GCC's potential was ready to present the region with tranquility, stability and peace. I am honored to host my colleagues in Istanbul today. Istanbul is the home and city of all of my colleagues and it will always be remembered as the center of our friendship, Davutoglu noted. Our relations today have been deepened and diversified. Despite the regional and global challenges, the cooperation between Turkey and the GCC have been strengthened, Davutoglu stressed. I do hope that our meeting today will be successful at a historic turning point, Davutoglu also said.
