Turkey to assume G-20 term presidency in 2015

CANNES, FRANCE (A.A) - November 4, 2011 - Turkey is set to take over the rotating presidency of the Group of Twenty in 2015, said a declaration which closed Friday G-20's summit meetings in Cannes, France.    Turkey will assume the post following the Australian term in 2014, and 2012 and 2013 terms will be assumed by Mexico and Russia, respectively.  Rotation of G-20 term presidency will change after 2015 as the president will be elected by from among a regional group of countries. Asia Group, consisting China, Indonesia, Japan, and South Korea, will be the first group to elect the G-20 president.
