Turkey NGOs Preparing For “World Campaign To Support Iran”

Ankara, Jan 28, IRNA – A number of non-governmental human rights organizations in Turkey are preparing for demonstrations to protest West's pressures against Iran. Speaking to IRNA on Saturday, the well-known Iranologist and Middle East expert Kenan Camurcu said the non-governmental organizations are planning to stage demonstrations in Istanbul to voice their protest against West's pressures imposed on Iran and intensification of sanctions. He said the demonstration is to be held on February 2, 2012 in Istanbul’s most famous square, Taksim. The organizers are going to use facebook and twitter to spread information about the gathering and invite people to take part in it. Some 40 international anti-war groups have already announced their readiness to organize massive demonstrations worldwide to protest West's approach against Iran./end
