Turkey not to aggravate relations with Russia

Baku, Azerbaijan, Nov. 25 By Rufiz Hafizoglu – Trend: Turkey isn’t going to aggravate relations with Russia, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, the Turkish TRT Haber TV channel reported Nov.25. The president went on to add that the fact that the Turkish Air Force until the last incident didn’t shoot down Russian planes that violated the country's airspace is a good example of Ankara’s patience. “We have learned about the fact that the downed bomber belongs to Russia from the officials of the country,” Erdogan said. “Before shooting down the bomber, the Turkish Air Force made 10 warnings,” he said. Erdogan went on to add that there are no militants of the IS terrorist group (ISIS, ISIL) in the areas of Syria, over which Russia’s Aerospace Forces conduct military operations. Turkish air force shot down Russian Su-24 warplane in Turkey’s airspace Nov.24. Both of the pilots managed to eject and the plane crashed on Syria’s territory. --- Follow the author on Twitter: @rhafizoglu Follow us on Twitter @TRENDNewsAgency
